Autumn in Tohoku, Japan
Tohoku - the northeastern region of Japan's Honshu island, is a picturesque sight and more, especially during Autumn. Daphne Lee spotlights what the season has to offer:
"I was pleasantly surprised that this part of Japan was draped in autumn finery, with a beautiful natural landscape of reds, browns and yellows in the month of November. With barely a hint of city life, Tohoku, which comprises six prefectures, is also well-known for its countryside, mountains, lakes and locally-harvested rice."
