SIA gets second A380

PARIS - AIRBUS has delivered the second A380 superjumbo to Singapore Airlines, the European planemaker said on Friday.

Airbus, battling to recover from a two-year delay in production of the world's largest airliner, aims to deliver 13 A380s this year, after the first double-decker plane went into service with Singapore Airlines late in 2007.

The pace of deliveries could have a major bearing on the share performance of Airbus parent EADS , analysts say. -- REUTERS
