Fancy a shower up in the skies?
>FANCY a shower during your 12-hour flight?

Now you can do that, if you travel first-class on the new Emirates Airbus A380 planes later this year, reported news.com.

The Dubai-based carrier plans to carry fresh water on its superjumbo.

According to Mr Richard Vaughan, Emirates' senior vice-president of commercial operations for East Asia and Australasia said: "The water certainly won't be recycled."

He added that the showers would be cleaned after every use.

Showers for first-class passengers are among a range of sky-high options that will be available to premium passengers.

He did not want to elaborate but more details would be announced later this year.

Emirates has already equipped its Airbus A340-500 planes with onboard Wi-Fi systems.

Emirates' has ordered 58 A380s - the biggest purchase by any airline of the superjumbo so far. It will receive its first A380 in August.

Mr Vaughan said: "The A380 has brought another era of aviation and our aircraft will have every facility to ensure passenger comfort in all three classes."
