TIGER Airways announced new flights from Singapore to Ho Chi Minh City and Perth to meet the peak summer travel season.

Starting from May 16, passengers flying to Ho Chi Minh City can choose 12 flights a week. Tiger will also increase to two daily flights to Vietnam's largest city, from June 1.

The low-cost carrier will also up its weekly flights to Perth to 11 from June 1. And between June 18 and August 10, Tiger will also offer two daily flights to Perth.

One-way fares to Ho Chi Minh City start from S$29.99 excluding taxes, while the flights to Perth cost from S$59.99.

Tiger Airways Chief Commercial and Marketing officer Rosalynn Tay said: 'Both Perth and Ho Chi Minh City proved to be extremely popular with consumers and the addition of thousands of low fare seats will ensure more travellers who will be able to take advantage of Tiger Airways' outstanding fares.'
