IPOH, MALAYSIA: The front desk office manager of a hotel in Cameron Highlands was found murdered in one of the hotel rooms.

Cameron Highlands OCPD Deputy Supt Yahaya Othman said the body of the 35-year-old victim, whose name was withheld by the police, was found with two stab wounds on his chest on Sunday at 11.30am.

"He died from the stab wounds that punctured his vital organs. His wallet and mobile phone are also missing," DSP Yahaya said, adding that the man's stolen car was recovered yesterday.

Police had yet to determine the motive for the killing and had not identified any suspects, he said, adding that the case had been classified as murder.
