Crafts bazaar bonus

By HEIDI MUNAN

The best of home-made masterpieces, Kraftangan Malaysia, will showcase the east and west of this great nation with its hallmark artistry and aplomb. Sabah will be here and the best artisans and craftsmen of Sarawak are flocking to Damai.

Sarawak's own textile artists Von Jolly Couture will be here, as will Fabriko, Anggun, EO and Artragously Ramsay Ong.

A representative sampling of Indonesian arts and crafts will be among the highlights as well as that from Korea, Denmark, Japan, the USA, Bali, Kyrgyzstan and India.

The crafts bazaar is in the same venue as the Rainforest World Music Festival. There will be shuttle bus services between Kuching's main hotels and the Cultural Village during the festival; access to private cars is restricted for the duration.
