BRITISH entrepreneur Richard Branson plans to build what he calls the world's most environmentally-friendly resort.

He will transform Mosquito Island, an uninhabited speck of land in the Caribbean, by building 20 villas and a beachfront restaurant powered entirely by wind turbines and solar panels.

The tycoon said all food would come from an organic orchard, while the beach buggies would be powered by biofuels.
