Closure of the Singapore Visitors Centre @ Orchard for renovations

>The Singapore Visitor Centre @ Orchard will be closed for refurbishment works from August 1, 2008.

It is scheduled to re-open by mid-September 2008, in time for the 2008 Formula 1 SingTel Singapore Grand Prix.

The refurbished SVC will feature a dedicated Singapore Education Services counter and a mobile video booth, dubbed 'TravelPod', where visitors can record their unique personal experiences of Singapore.

Meanwhile, a temporary tourist information counter will be located on the first floor of The Hereen Shops from August 1, 2008.

The counter will operate from 10am to 10.30pm daily, except on Saturdays when it will open from 10am to 11pm.
