All Singapore Airlines flights scheduled today from Singapore to Hong Kong have been cancelled.

This is due to extreme weather conditions in Hong Kong caused by Typhoon Nuri, said SIA.

The local carrier has issued an urgent statement advising customers booked to travel today to not go to the airport, and stay in touch via the website for updates.

Customers booked to travel today will be accommodated on flights as early as possible, and information will be made available when schedules are settled, said the statement.

For members of the public expecting to meet customers flying in from Hong Kong, the only Singapore Airlines flight from Hong Kong, which will operate today, has already arrived.

SQ1, from San Francisco and Hong Kong arrived into Singapore at 11.20 this morning. All other flights will not operate until further notice.

Meeters and greeters can stay in touch with flight information via the Singapore Airlines website, or by calling the Changi Airport flight information hotline on 1800 542 4422.

Singapore Airlines flight information is available online, at singaporeair.com, under FLIGHT STATUS
