PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA: An excursion bus with some 30 Asian tourists travelling from Butterworth to Kuala Lumpur overturned at the 402nd kilometre of the North South Expressway, near Bukit Tagar, yesterday.

There were no casualties reported in the 3.15pm incident.

The driver and several passengers received outpatient treatment at the Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Initial investigation showed that the driver, in his 40s, was speeding when the incident occurred.

The accident created a traffic congestion for about 10km as police closed all the three lanes to remove the bus. Motorists were forced to use the emergency lane.
