No reason for departure change
Tue, Dec 16, 2008
my paper

I BOOKED a return ticket on Tiger Airways on Oct 1 to go to Kuala Lumpur on Jan 24 to celebrate Chinese New Year.

Payment was deducted and I received a confirmation number. I am supposed to depart at 2.30pm and arrive in KL at 3.25pm.

On Nov 19, I received an e-mail message saying that my departure time had been changed to 8.50pm, and the arrival time was to be 9.45pm.

From the airport in KL, I need to travel to the city, after which I have to take a train and feeder bus to my final destination.

It is difficult to travel by public transport in KL after 11pm, and this situation is worse in the outskirts.

I went to the Budget Terminal on Nov 30 to try and secure my original booking. I was told that Tiger had the right to change my departure time.

Could somebody help me with this matter?

Ms Chang Yen Ching
