SINGAPORE'S Jetstar Asia and sister airline Jetstar in Australia, have scrapped fuel surcharges on most international services, in line with falling oil prices.

Before the cut, travellers were paying up to $136 in fuel tax for a return trip from Singapore to Australia.

Jetstar Asia's chief executive officer Chong Phit Lian said: 'With the drop in fuel prices, we want to pass on this savings to our customers by removing all fuel surcharges.'
