I REFER to the letter by Mr Darren Chong, "Science Centre should have one-adult, one-child membership" (my paper, Feb 23).

We would like to thank Mr Chong for his feedback and support.

One of the key goals of the Science Centre is to encourage families to learn and enjoy science together.

To this end, we have developed various pricing and membership schemes to ensure that admission to the Science Centre and its other attractions is affordable to a wide cross-section of the population.

We have kept our basic admission prices unchanged for the last eight years, at $3 for a child and $6 for an adult.

The total admission price is $9 for a child and an adult for a whole day of enjoyment and interactive fun learning, making it still affordable in these challenging times.

In addition, we also have other promotions and discounts, including packaged admissions, that provide visitors with even better value.
