Fairmont appointed official hotel of YOG

Fairmont Singapore has been appointed the official hotel partner for next year's inaugural Youth Olympic Games, the hotel said in a statement.

The hotel, has been involved in hosting several high-profile international sporting events in the past, including the 107th International Olympic Committee session in July 2005.

Located within Singapore's business, shopping and entertainment districts, has 769 guest rooms and 16 restaurants. The Raffles City Convention Centre, a 70,000 function space, is also located at the fourth level of the building.
