Cultural and angklung performances, batik drawing and a traditional Malay spa are among what's in store for visitors, along with an array traditional Malay dishes.
One of the most popular activities is batik painting. For a small fee, one can paint their own batik art under the supervision of two experienced batik artists.
"They can also design their own batik and experience the process of making a hand-painted batik," said Tan Khai Ling, director of Rantau Kekal Sdn Bhd which operates Rumah Limas.
Besides batik painting, batik apparel are also available on sale.
"We also have plans to organise a weekly batik exhibition here. Hopefully, that will start next month," said Tan.
There are also daily cultural performances at Rumah Limas, named after traditional Johor Malay houses which are built without nails.
"The main purpose of this place is to expose the Malay-Johor culture to locals and foreigners."
Rumah Limas is also fast becoming a popular venue for couples to host their weddings.
"We offer wedding packages to the public. Weddings have become an attraction for foreign tourists, who get to witness traditional Malay culture," he added.
More activities are under way, including traditional games and an exhibition of cash crops such as rubber, cocoa and oil palm.
