The authorities have laid concrete barriers at the sea shores of Kampung Senibong to prevent erosion.
These embankments also provide a place to sit for visitors, who mainly come from districts around Johor Baru.
Villagers have also built a pathway made of stilts, on the the other side of the village, to allow visitors to view the rich mangrove forests, which stretches all the way to Stulang Laut.
At the seashore, a coffee stall and a viewing platform have been built on stilts and is linked by a jetty.
The coffee stall is a favourite place for teenagers, especially at night.
Kampung Senibong looks beautiful at dusk as the glittering lights from across the Johor Straits add colour to the night sky.
A restaurant nearby serves grilled fish, freshly caught from the Tebrau Straits.
It is open until midnight.
To reach the village, one should turn right at the first traffic light-junction after the Permas Jaya bridge.
