Alibaba executive chairman Jack Ma, a former teacher, is planning to make a return to the education sector, China Press reported.
He was quoted as saying that he did not rule out the possibility.
"Education can leave a very deep impact," he said, adding that a forum on education on Sept 5 brought great benefit.
He said the participants shared their knowledge with other teachers who then "spread it out to thousands of students".
"When I was starting Alibaba, education helped me a lot," he said.
Ma said he liked to give talks and attend events.
"I will only attend events held by people who had helped me as I want to return the favour, and the other is for functions I pledged to attend," he said.
