MALAYSIA is at the crossroads of cultures, where the East meets the West.

Because Malaysia is so near, it's hard to resist taking a holiday there. Or a quick jaunt across the Causeway for some grocery shopping in Johor Bahru.

If you're into gastronomical delights, head down to Penang for some of its famed nonya cuisine.

In Redang, watch giant turtles clamber onto the sand for their nesting rituals. Peer through the window into Malaysia's past in Malacca, rich in historical sites and European culture.

Spend some time in Desaru frolicking in the Kota Tinggi waterfalls with friends and family.

Or indulge your inner shopaholic at luxurious boutiques in one of the many high-end malls in Kuala Lumpur.

Experience cool climates and pick some fresh, ripe strawberries on the slopes of Cameron Highlands.

Soak up the sun on the pristine beaches of Terengganu and Port Dickson.

Remember to bring your best swimwear! Take a breath and dive into the crystal-clear waters of Langkawi, with its magnificent marine life.

Whatever your fancy, be it exciting days under the sun or just quiet respite from your work, you'll be able to find it in Malaysia.

There's much to do and certainly much more to see.

Each place you go, you are presented with different outlooks, perspectives and experiences.

All of which, perhaps, can be summed up in this phrase: "Malaysia, truly Asia."
